Backlash at the NFL Offices?

Where were you when the touchdown that never happened, happened? Last night proves why you should never quit as a player, and as a fan why you shouldn’t turn the TV off before the clock reads 0:00 . Or did it? Listen, I’m not a fan of Seattle or Green Bay , I’m just glad that as a fan of football I wasn’t disappointed for sacrificing sleep over hopes of seeing a good finish.  Yeah I looked at the replay as much as the next guy and I get it.  Looks like they blew it.  But I’m always the guy holding fast to the unpopular opinion and say that, to me,  it wasn’t as conclusive as the rest of you think. (ye’ shrug)

The notion of that being an unpopular opinion proves true because over 70,000 voicemails were reportedly left at Roger Goodell’s office after the number was tweeted by Wisconsin’s Senator Jon Erpenbach earlier today.  Yeah I was saying it too..he lost maaad money on that game and was SALTY.  Otherwise, don’t you have more pressing business as a Senator than getting a little payback on ol’ Roger? Guess not.  For now it looks like we’re stuck with these refs until they work their deal out.  Fans first scream that Goodell has too much power, then clamour for him when it affects their team, to reverse the call or to do something about the perceived injustice that was experienced in Seattle at the hands of the replacement zebras.

Now people are over the edge in saying that they’re not watching football anymore.  Fans said the same thing after the Heat’s big 3 came together.  Enough already.  As men, we need our sports, and football is the one sport that we were made to like..it’s just in us, we love football.  So we we’ll keep keep tuning in to this train wreck every week that you call the NFL because that’s just what we do.   What about you? Do you think it was a blown call? Are you boycotting until the real refs get back?  Let me know.
